Brand new MXUS V3 3K-Turbo 3000w poweful rear brushless electric bike hub motor with nominal power of 3000 watts (3Kw) and maximum power output of 8000w (peak power). Manufactured by well-known MXUS company. This is a high speed motor (3 turns), and being such a powerful motor, it certainly has excellent powerful torque. With 45 mm wide 45H rare earth magnets, and aluminium stator, it is a very efficient hub motor. This is the very latest version of the MXUS 3K-Turbo motor. The motor is capable to reach speeds of above 62 mph / above 100 km/h with the right battery and speed controller. If needed, I can also professionally lace this motor upon request into a bicycle rim or into a motorcycle rim, at extra cost. The motor is a direct drive brushless hub motor, with two pairs of Hall sensors, a temperature sensor, and 4. Certainly the motor supports regenerative braking. Voltage ranges: 48v – 96v. Certainly the motor can also be used with lower voltage such as 36 volts , however the speed will be lower with voltages lower than 48 volts. Speed ranges of this motor. 560 RPM at 48 volts. 700 RMP at 60 volts. 840 RMP at 72 volts. 980 RMP at 84 volts. 1120 RMP at 96 volts. Even though it’s so powerful and has wide and efficient magnets, this motor can be fitted into small 135mm rear dropouts with a 5 speeds / gears freewheel or less number of speeds. If you use a freewheel with bigger number of gears (such as 6 or 7 or 8 speeds), then you may need slightly wider dropouts of your bicycle, such as 142mm or so. Anyway, steel and aluminium dropouts can be widened a little bit without any special tools. Of course, this motor can also be fitted into wider 150mm rear dropouts too, when extra spacers are added on the axle. The axle is 10mm x 16mm. This motor is disc brake or rim brake compatible. The motor can be laced into a bicycle rim, or into a motorcycle rim. Number of spoke holes: 36. Maximum spoke size: 10G. Or can be thicker if you’d drill larger holes for spokes. But 10G spoke size is more than enough for this motor. Even 12G spokes will be fine, depending on your bike power / specifications / weight etc. Be aware that the motor does not come with the rubber covers for the axle nuts. Because rubber covers used to be on the older MXUS version with 14mm axle. But M16 nuts on the latest MXUS motor are not covered by any rubber corks, as MXUS factory. Provide them for M16 nuts worldwide, they just don’t find it necessary (obviously because these rubber corks just detach and get lost very easily).
