Electric Fat Bike 500w Bafang hub drive motor – size M/L. I bought this bike about two and a half years ago, it has been our families go to bike to ride for big smiles – my wife daughters and I have all ridden her – so much fun to ride just about anywhere but with several other bikes in the garage this one needs to find a new home – ifyou know what I mean! . The bike is black alloy fat bike (non- branded) with a 19″ frame (M/L) could fit 5’7″ – 6’2. It has a 150mm travel, air shock on the front with rebound adjustment and lockout (nice fork) and a straight steerer head tube it has a small air leak which doesn’t affect the operation at all – i will throw in a shock pump. The frame and forks are in good condition considering the two and a half years use. She has always been well serviced, it does have some marks chips and rubs from use (see pics) but absolutely no cracks or big dents. The bike has a 1×7 drive train. It has a new Neco – screw in square tapper bottom bracket with a 38t Hope narrow wide chain ring with a 7 speed chain. Truvativ170mm crank arms with a new set of peddles. Shimano DeoreXT rear mech and a Shimano HG 7 speed freewheel cassette. The frontwheel is 26x 80mm wide drilled rim to keep the weight down with 135mm hub dropout and quick release axle. The rear is 26x 80mm wide drilled rim with 175mm hub motor dropout. The front and rear tyres are Paneracer Fat B nimble 26″x 4″- this bike has bike incredible grip in all conditions Trails, beaches, bogs, mud or dust! The cockpit: TruvativHussefelt stem – 31.8mm x 35mm x 10mm rise (v tough) Voodoo handlebars 770mm wide with red lock on grips. Formula RO downhill brakes oval single piston front and rear with reach and modulation adjustment coupled with a Hope 203mm floating rota on the front and Hope 180mm on the rear (Expensive brakes) these things could genuinely stop a runaway train – Fantastic stopping power. 36v/48vmotor display – three power and speed settings with battery power and on off switch. This small and discrete display keeps the front of the bike looking clean and tidy. The top speed is restricted to 20mph. I have also fitted a thumb throttle for quick power with no peddling – Great for big hills! Motor and controller: Bafang 48v 500wGeared Hub Motor – 8Fun 500w motor controller. Virtual torque sensing – fullyenclosed peddle assist sensor It only moves when you peddle it! Or if you hitthe throttle. I have had this motor out for a service and I have greased all of the bearings and gears which are all running well – it has been a very reliable and strong motor. Battery: 48v – 9Ah400WH rechargeable Li – ion battery and charger with two keys – battery locks on to the bike for security. The battery can be charged on or off the bike. The battery has been charged about 150 to 200 times since it was new and it should be good for about 1000 cycles. The range is about 35-40 miles on low, about 15-20 miles on high and using the throttle. Smiles per mile very high! That’s just about everything, if I have missed something then please don’t hesitate to get in touch and off course any test or inspection would be welcome – cash on collection only.
