The Carrera Crosscity Electric Bike is perfect if you’re looking for a reliable solution for your daily commute or fancy a bit of leisure riding with an electric boost. With a 313Wh battery offering up to 30 miles of power assistance on a single charge, this bike will more than cover the average commute. The battery feeds its power through a stable rear hub motor that can propel you to speeds of up to 15.5mph. Plus, because the battery is integrated into the bike, the Carrera Crosscity E has such a sleek, balanced design that many people won’t even know it’s an electric bike. The light folding frame comes with a kick stand and rear carrier, for added practicality on the go. 8-speed Shimano Acera gears mean you can smoothly manage the power, and V-brakes offer controlled stopping when you need it. Completing this small but perfectly formed little bike are double wall alloy rims and Kenda tyres. You’ll have everything you need to take on the urban jungle with the Carrera Crosscity E. The Carrera Crosscity is built around a Bafang rear hub electric motor system, seamlessly integrated into the rear wheel. The system is equipped with a Speed sensor, which automatically engages the motor once you begin pedaling to provide power assistance to your ride. As required by law, the motor will automatically stop assisting you once you achieve a speed of 15.5mph. With a hidden internal Li-Ion battery, weight is balanced providing an improved ride quality, over those with rear-mounted batteries. The battery is protected from the elements on the Carrera Crosscity. With a battery capacity of 313Wh / 8.7Ah and a range of up to 30miles per charge the Crosscity is very capable on the daily commute or leisure ride. As standard on all Carrera E-bikes, the Crosscity comes with an integrated smart control system that protects the battery from overheating, short circuiting or overcharging. Note; The total travel distance will depend on the capacity of the battery, rider and luggage weight, power mode setting and riding style. The electric motor of the Crosscity is controlled via a multi-function LED display -offering Low, Medium or High levels of power-assist. The display / control unit includes an integrated push button to switch between the 3 assistance levels, alongside the power On/Off button. The display is located on the left side of the handlebar and its compact size reduces the risk of damage when in use. Deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses and certain remote locations e. Unfortunately we cannot deliver to non-UK destinations, including the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, BFPO addresses and PO boxes at this time. FREE on orders over. Your order will be sent via courier, and a signature will be required. If you place your order before 8pm you can collect it in-store from 1pm two days later (exceptions apply). If you are collecting your order from a Halfords store, please ensure you take with you your order code and photo ID. If your order contains more than one product the individual products may, on occasion, be sent in multiple dispatches at no extra charge. All courier deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives they will attempt to deliver to an immediate neighbour. The courier will leave a card advising where the parcel has been delivered to, or if they have been unable to deliver they will make two further attempts. If they are still unsuccessful they will either. Leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for redelivery or for you to collect the goods from the local depot. If you order a bike and collect it from your local store it will be built for free. It will be ready from 4pm on collection day. Unfortunately we cannot build your bike if you choose to have it delivered to your home, work or another address. Any bikes not collected in store will be delivered boxed and will require self assembly. For bikes and bike products head over to the BikeHut once you’re in store. For all other products head towards the signposted collection point which should be located by the parts desk.
