Great electric bike and a really good commuter bike with rear rack and waterproof pannier bags. Not used much since a full service 11 months ago. 3 levels of power assist, low gives you 50% extra of your effort via the crank sensor, medium matches your effort, high gives 200% of what you put in, steep hills are not a problem. It has a recent Derby bicycle 18 mah battery pack, which recharges quickly on the original Kalkhoff charger. This is allegedly good for up to 140 kilometres of cycling dependant on the terrain. The most I’ve cycled at once was 35 miles and to be fair it had just under half its capacity left at the end. The Shimano Alfine gear system is an 8 gear internal hub system known for its reliability. It has a trip computer fitted to the front wheel to measure speed and distance etc via a removable LCD display. It has front and rear hydraulic disc brakes with new discs and pads. The bike has SR Suntour front forks which have remote locking. It has dynamo hub fitted front and rear lights which all work fine so no batteries needed. This is a large frame bike and would be suitable for anyone 6 feet or over. The tyres are good quality and are injected with puncture proof green slime. I have the recent service history, all of its manuals and literature and even the Kalkhoff dvd. There are some spare new spokes and a spare inner tube.
