It suppresses the speed limiter so you can enjoy your ride at unlimited speed. How does Speedbox 3.0 work? The tuning kit can be activated directly from the mobile application or on yours bike display. After pressing the’WALK’ or’+ – + -‘ or’WALK’ and’+’ buttons, a value of 6.2 mph or 9.9 kph is displayed and from now on you will be able to ride at a speed of 25mph (40 kph), 31mph (50 kph) and even more than 37mph (60 kph). As much as you can pedal! You can set the maximum speed pf an electric assistance by changing modes: Turbo – EMTB- Tour – Eco – Tour – EMTB – Turbo. An actual speed limit will be displayed after that. The maximum speed of an electric assistance can be switched by pressing’WALK’ button shortly or by turning the rear wheel 360°. The value of 0.93 mph (1.5 kph) on the display corresponds with the limit of 9.3 mph (15 kph), 1.2 mph (2 kph) corresponds with the limit of 12.4 mph (20 kph), 1.5 mph (2.5 kph) corresponds with 15.5 mph (25 kph), 1.8 mph (3.0 kph) corresponds with 18.6 mph (30 kph), 6.1 mph (9.9 kph) corresponds with 61.5 mph (99 kph) etc. The last displayed limit will be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity. When using SpeedBox 3.0 with Bosch motors of the 4th generation (produced in 2020 or later) it is necessary to leave the bike on after finishing the ride until a value of 0.0 mph or 0.0 kph is displayed.
