Im 55 and I ride it comfortably, as does my wife at 53, and my son at 57. Mechanically in excellent condition. Only 673 miles ridden. Probably about 20 charge cycles. The battery has been stored, part charged, indoors over winter months when not in use as recommended by Bosch. The chainset is good. Not worn to limits, (as shown in the photos). Everything works as it should. Cosmetically, the bike has had quite a few little scrapes and stone chips. I have tried to show the worst of them in the photos. Buyers must take into account that this bike has been used on trails! Spec: Please cut and paste the link below. It is based on a used CUBE AIM Frame which has scuffs and scratches associated with use. It also had a hairline crack behind the Bottom Bracket which I had professionally TIG welded. The motor is a brand new BAFANG unit which has never been used. It also includes the original chainring which you may want to use for a better chain line. The disadvantage of this would be that you do not get to use the narrow wide chainring fitted. You will need to add a 36V battery. The Bafang kit simply gives you a red and black wire to connect, everything else is set up ready to go. Lots of the parts including the drivetrain are brand new, parts used listed here. Recent service including Pike lower oil service, new brake pads and a brand new dropper post has been fitted due to the old one sticking. New front tyre also, which is widely known as the best e mountain tyre you can get. Bike runs great and is only for sale due to back issues. The bike rides great, the brakes are strong and the suspension plush. The bike does has a few marks as expected but the bike wants for nothing and functions great. This is a very cheap way of getting into the e-bike market. The battery cover took a hit from a rock so had a crack, it has been plastic welded so its fine for now and a new cover has been ordered from Lapierre but has yet to arrive – I will forward on once it arrives, global part shortage is causing the delay.
