This is a brand new Bosch Active Line Cruise e bike motor. It was bought in error for a mountain bike which needs a different type of motor so it’s now up for sale. It has been fitted to a frame and taken to our local Bosch dealer who has done a diagnostic check on it and downloaded 2019 software on to it. The diagnostic sheet which shows a healthy motor with 1.9 recorded miles is included in the sale. The motor type code is 0 275 007 020. We now have a Bosch approved and supplied service kit for generation 2 Bosch E-Bike motors with noisy / worn drive side bearings or as a bearing upgrade. The comprehensive kit includes: Cover incl. Seal, bearing, freewheel drive gear, gear grease, cover screws, bearing pin with rubber collared bush and protective disc. Full Bosch diagnostics are ran prior to and post installation. We have options for you to send your motor to us or your whole bike. Message for more info / booking. Spare parts kit for the repair of second generation drive units for eliminating damage to the right hand bottom bracket. In most cases attention to the drive side bearings will cure a noisy motor. Specialist tools you will need for safe and correct motor removal. Bosch Lock Ring Tool. Send your motor to us or bring us your entire bike (price to receive whole bike will differ). Prior to any work being carried out we will run the Bosch diagnostics test and provide you with an official comprehensive report. We will attach the motor to our test bed and run through all physical functions. Assuming there are no software errors or physical damage to the internals or externals of the motor we can move to the next step. If errors are found we will contact you to discuss your alternative options. Please note that this may result in the motor coming back to you un-repaired. We will fit the official Bosch service repair kit as trained and directed by Bosch. Kit includes: Cover incl. Your motor will then be re-attached to the test bed and again ran through all physical functions. Bosch diagnostics will be ran again and the official report supplied. Software updates can at this stage be applied if required. The drive unit must not be repaired if any one of the following applies. The drive unit has one of the part numbers below. 0 275 007 020 0 275 007 021 0 275 007 022 0 275 007 023 0 275 007 024 0 275 007 025. This information will be on your service diagnostic report print out given to you when your bike was new or serviced. If the eBike has a back-pedal brake. This is for 2nd generation Bosch e- bike motors only. This service kit is for driveside bearings only. Bosch currently do not support the replacement of the non driveside bearings. Y changing the L/H side (non driveside) bearing, there is high probability of damaging the torque sensor, which can lead to the ebike ghosting. If you remove the L/H bearings then the torque sensor has to be removed. The torque sensor is tested and calibrated in what Bosch call an end of line test at the production facility. If you remove it, its not possible to check the calibration after refitting it…. Even if the paint is aligned across the nut and torque sensor shaft. Please note that you are responsible for getting the motor to us safely. Please use an insured and trackable service. We can return to mainland UK only for this price. Other destinations can be quoted for. Deliver your bike to us on an agreed date and collect your bike from us when we have finished.
